Nestled in the beautiful Northern California foothills, our small family farm sits on 40 acres where we
passionately raise the highest-quality English Labradors—dogs bred to be your loyal, lifelong companions. With more than 25 years of experience, we are deeply committed to preserving excellence in this beloved breed.
Our Labs have exceptional temperaments, come from champion bloodlines, and undergo extensive health testing to ensure you welcome the healthiest, happiest puppy into your family.
We are nothing like a traditional kennel—our dogs are part of our family. They roam freely across the
ranch, enjoying the good life right alongside us. We typically have about two litters each year, and every puppy is thoughtfully and carefully raised with daily snuggles and early exposure to new sights, sounds, and surfaces to support confident, healthy development.
Our Labradors are known for their gorgeous blocky heads, thick coats, and classic English “otter tails.”
But my favorite trait of all is their lovable, teddy-bear temperament. They truly have that perfect “Hey, I’m
chill... but always up for anything!” personality that makes the English Lab so special.
We often hear from families telling us their Thornton Ranch Labrador is the best companion they’ve ever owned—and there is no greater compliment.
And there’s more! Thornton Ranch also offers horse boarding, and we raise Dexter cattle and Silkie
chickens, which are available for purchase seasonally.
